The Dinner List Review by Rebecca Serle - 3.5 stars
We’ve all played the game, if you could have dinner with someone dead or alive who would it be? Rebecca Serle expanded on this common question and explored what would actually happen.
For Sabrina’s 30th birthday dinner, she shows up to a restaurant to meet her longtime best friend Jessica as part of their annual tradition. Instead she finds a table full of the five people she wished she could have dinner with. The group includes Jessica, her estranged father, a former college professor, the love of her life and Audrey Hepburn. During this dinner, the group gets to know each other and finds out exactly why Sabrina had each of these five people on her list.
This book was a quick read and an interesting story. For me the story felt a little predictable and fell a bit short of my hopes and expectations.
